Tintomara
Tintomara is my own clothing brand. From my studio in Malmö, I design and sew collections, custom pieces, and whatever fun projects come my way. All my fabrics are sourced secondhand. Old blankets, bedsheets, tablecloths, sleeping bags - you name it.
It always starts with the fabric; I let it guide me toward what it wants to become.
Before I started working at Booztlet.com, Tintomara was my full-time job. Now, it’s my favorite way to spend evenings and weekends. It’s a creative space where I get to make exactly what I want, purely for the joy of creating.
Below, you’ll find some process videos that show how my garments come to life. From sketch to finished piece. I usually start by collecting inspiration photos, which I use as a base for my sketches. From there, I make my own alterations, choose colors and materials, and refine the design until it feels right. Once I’ve decided on a sketch, I move on to pattern construction and finally to sewing the garment.
At the bottom, you can see images from three different collections, followed by a few custom-made pieces.
